I spent the long holiday weekend on a mini-vacation: camping in northern Wisconsin. I read, I shopped, I hiked, I ate marshmallows. It was all very wholesome, if you discount the fact that I have contracted the plague. I'm pretty sure a yeti spat on me in my sleep. So if I don't post again this week, don't worry--I've just died, is all.
I'm hoping you survive.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on making me laugh out loud with a five-sentence long post. :)
That makes two of us... Thank you!
DeleteIs it poison ivy, sumac, oak or something else? You won the lottery, right? Feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteIt's whatever makes my head implode and my sinuses explode and my body temperature to vacillate to the point that I've got the heater on at my feet and the fan on toward my face.
DeleteDana!! ai yi yi! Your blogs motivate me! I hope you get better stat!
ReplyDeleteThanks, lady! Can't wait to read more of your adventures, too!!!
DeleteDid you take a plane to get there? Because I would blame it on the awful recirculated air on the plane if you did. If not, I hear the Yeti Spit Plague is rarely fatal - just feels like it. Get well soon!
ReplyDeleteNah, I drove to my folks' house, which is about midway and carpooled with them for the remainder of the trip. Sadly, plane tickets from Chicago to the middle of nowhere cost an obscene amount of money--otherwise, I'd be up there a lot more often.
DeleteBut guess what??? I'm feeling better! (And if I can find a moment, I might even blog tomorrow!)
