Make Sure It's Got Lots of Glitter, Okay?

Last night some dude gave me a giant, man-sized crow puppet and taught me how to work it so that the world wouldn't explode.  But then I didn't do it right so the only option left was to turn into Buffy the Vampire Slayer and let someone throw a knife at my back.  I died, but it was okay, because I came out a happy ghost and had averted the apocalypse.

Lesson 1:  Birds can't be trusted.  Neither can professional puppeteers.

Lesson 2:  While you were all unconscious, I saved the world, so you should probably make me an award.  With glitter.

Alternate Lesson 2:  I need to stop eating cheese fries before bed.

(True:  Large dogs' dreams last longer, but small dogs dream more frequently.)

Kellan dreams of playing fetch with some nice new people.

  1. Wow, that was some dream! Better than mine anyway. I'd be all over turning into Buffy!

And I'd totally make you an award with glitter and stuff if I was at all creative. Um, I mean beyond knitting, crocheting and sometimes writing funny. ;)

    1. Yeah, being Buffy, even a dead, ghost Buffy, was pretty darn awesome. I wonder how many people have dreams where they die, and it isn't a nightmare?

  2. Thank you for saving us.

I'm all about the glitter, too. Now I want an award. With glitter. For something.

I sure wish I could pet your dogs. They all look so sweet.

    1. I sure wish I could pet these dogs! I guess we just have to hope their foster parents are giving them enough snuggles in our absence. Doesn't Kellan look like he needs a big kiss on the head?

  3. For years I've thought I was the only one with bizarre dreams. I can't be THAT crazy if you have insane dreams too....right? I recently had a nightmare in which I was a kitten being crushed by piles of stuff in a hoarder's home, it was awful. =( But then I had a good dream that I was a dolphin that looked like a koala. I have no idea why I looked like a koala, or how I knew I was actually a dolphin, but I lived at Sea World and got to swim and do tricks with the trainers. Do you ever dream that you are an animal? (please say yes...)

    1. Not an animal, but I'm frequently other people--men, women, whatever. And sometimes my dreams are entirely in green. Hopefully that's weird enough for you. :)

    2. Definitely good enough, although I now want to know what being a "whatever" person means. I'm jealous that you get to dream in green, I want to have a dream entirely in a certain color. I've also never been other people, but it is common for people to morph into other people in my dreams, or to look like one person but actually be another.

    3. "Whatever," as in, sometimes I'm just sort of an omniscient narrator, not a character. I've also had dreams where everything is made up of geometric shapes, so people have triangle heads and such.

People definitely morph in my dreams, though, or don't look like who I know they are. That happens with places sometimes, too.
